Housekeeping Team Leader

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which brings together more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a Housekeeping Team Leader in Dubai. The role covers the supervision of room attendants, the daily inspection of guest rooms and service areas, and the coordination of housekeeping operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily briefings for room attendants and inspect their grooming
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors and pantries daily to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness
• Train room attendants on the job and oversee their work
• Maintain equipment and machines, prepare job orders and coordinate with Engineering
• Give special attention to VIP rooms and handle lost-and-found items
• Report sick, irregular guests and strangers to the Housekeeper and Security Office, and prepare discrepancy reports for the front office
• Carry out fumigation, follow up "Do Not Disturb" rooms, prepare linen inventory and notify the Housekeeper of guest-caused damage
• Check maintenance reports and ensure incomplete work is followed up
• Water and change flowers according to schedule, keeping them neat until delivery to rooms
• Inspect occupied, vacant and checkout rooms daily at 13:00, monitor key issues and ensure maid trolleys are parked correctly
• Supervise the PA attendant and handle guest service matters at the station
• Take proper handovers between shifts and cooperate with other departments

Required profile

• University degree in any field
• At least 2 years in a similar role with a five-star hotel
• Passion for creating exceptional service and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong verbal communication skills
