Housing Officer

About the role

The Housing Officer will manage employee accommodation at SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences, ensuring safe, comfortable, and compliant living spaces for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate suitable accommodation to employees based on needs, preferences and availability.
• Conduct regular property inspections, arrange repairs, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Serve as primary contact for employee housing queries and support.
• Manage utility invoices and accommodation‑related expenses.
• Enforce Housing Rules, Overnight Stay Policy, Pets Policy and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and Building Management to deliver a seamless welcome and departure experience.
• Oversee colleague bus transportation between accommodation and hotel.
• Assist employees with emergency medical guidance and ensure fire safety compliance throughout the property.

Required profile

• Knowledge of local housing laws, regulations and standards.
• Experience in managing accommodation facilities, maintenance and cleanliness.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with hotel management, employees and external stakeholders.
• Ability to handle conflicts or disputes diplomatically.
• Budgeting awareness to manage accommodation expenses within allocated limits.
• Meticulous record‑keeping and inventory management.
• Sensitivity to cultural differences and confidentiality of employee information.

Required skills

• Familiarity with software or systems for accommodation bookings, maintenance tracking and reporting.
