HR Associate – Recruitment & Employee Services

About the role

The HR Associate will provide day‑to‑day HR operational support for KBR’s Abu Dhabi office, handling recruitment administration, onboarding, mobilization, employee documentation, travel coordination and payroll inputs. The role demands high accuracy, confidentiality and proactive communication with employees, candidates and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Enter recruitment data, manage onboarding and HR induction processes through Workday and other HRIS tools.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee records, trackers, MOL/WPS updates and lifecycle documentation while ensuring compliance.
• Coordinate visa, work permit, residency, travel, accommodation and per‑diem claims with relevant authorities and service providers.
• Provide payroll inputs, support payroll coordination and verify related employee data.
• Respond promptly to employee and candidate queries, delivering reliable HR administrative assistance.
• Prepare and update HR reports, dashboards and audit documentation as required.
• Ensure all HR activities adhere to confidentiality standards and local labour regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 2‑4 years of experience in HR administration, HR operations or employee services, preferably in the oil & gas sector in the UAE.
• Proven experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
• Strong coordination, accuracy, confidentiality and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
