HR Business Partner – Retail (UAE)

About the role

The HR Business Partner will support Al-Futtaim Retail stores in Abu Dhabi, acting as a strategic partner to store management. The role aligns HR initiatives with business objectives, drives employee engagement, and ensures operational excellence across the store network.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the Group People Strategy into store‑level actions and recommend optimal organisational structures.
• Partner with store leadership to identify talent needs, develop recruitment plans and manage manpower budgeting.
• Oversee employee‑relations cases, ensuring compliance with UAE labour law and Al‑Futtaim Group policies throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Lead performance‑appraisal processes, support performance‑improvement plans and promote a values‑driven culture.
• Manage manpower cost and budget planning, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role within a retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour legislation and ability to apply Group policies consistently.
• Excellent communication skills to act as a trusted advisor to store leadership and employees.
• Ability to design and implement HR initiatives that support business goals.
