HR Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead our human resources function in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that support business objectives while ensuring compliance with local labour laws.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding.
• Develop, update and enforce HR policies and procedures.
• Manage performance appraisal processes and support employee development.
• Promote a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns and driving engagement.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration and HR records management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour legislation and internal policies.
• Advise senior management on HR best practices and organisational development.
• Coordinate training programmes to enhance employee skills and productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in FMCG or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, UAE labour legislation and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
