HR Manager – JAFZA Regulations (Male) – Automotive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead all HR functions for our automotive business operating in JAFZA, Dubai. Reporting to the General Manager – Controlling and Administration, you will shape people strategy, ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and JAFZA regulations, and foster a positive work culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end HR operations: planning, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
• Develop, implement and update HR policies in line with UAE Labour Law and JAFZA requirements.
• Oversee recruitment activities, manage job portals and coordinate with agencies.
• Administer payroll through WPS, salary structures, incentives, bonuses and annual increments.
• Manage performance processes, including probation reviews, KPIs and annual appraisals.
• Coordinate training, development programs and company‑wide HR initiatives.
• Act as liaison between management and staff, handling grievances and employee concerns.
• Handle government relations (MOL, Free Zones, Immigration, Medical, Emirates ID) and visa processes.
• Maintain employee records, leave management, tickets and end‑of‑service benefits.
• Oversee staff accommodation contracts and prepare HR reports on manpower planning, turnover, budgets and cost analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and JAFZA regulations.
• Experience managing the full HR lifecycle in the automotive sector is an advantage.
• Professional, people‑focused, ethical and able to handle confidential matters with discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with HRMS/ERP systems, preferably Workday.
• Familiarity with the Wage Protection System (WPS) for payroll.
