About the role
The HR Officer will serve as the primary HR contact for all school staff, providing efficient and empathetic support on employment matters. This role ensures compliance with UAE regulations and supports the school’s leadership in fostering a high‑performance culture.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for staff on contracts, payroll, housing, leave, and HR policies.
- Maintain and update the CTC and benefit tracker.
- Manage onboarding, including pre‑employment communication, IT setup, ID cards, and inductions.
- Coordinate visa, work permit, KHDA/ADEK applications, renewals and cancellations, ensuring compliance.
- Support recruitment activities, arrange interviews, source candidates, and issue offer letters and contracts.
- Oversee probationary, performance review and appraisal cycles.
- Administer life and health insurance applications, renewals and cancellations.
- Conduct pre‑employment due diligence checks, including references and police clearances.
- Manage staff time and attendance reporting and system administration.
Required profile
- UAE national.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labour law and visa regulations.
- Experience in HR administration within an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
