HR Project Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Join Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi as an HR Project Manager and lead people‑focused initiatives that shape the future of the airline’s workforce. You will coordinate, govern and deliver a portfolio of HR projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and track delivery of HR roadmap projects, monitoring milestones, risks and issues.
• Support implementation of HR initiatives, including the HR Operating Model programme and related change projects.
• Apply project management standards, governance processes and reporting requirements across all HR projects.
• Collaborate with HR teams, cross‑functional stakeholders and technology partners to manage dependencies and achieve project outcomes.
• Prepare regular project updates, reports and governance documentation for senior leadership.
• Escalate risks and delays proactively, proposing mitigation plans.
• Partner with HR leadership and HR Technology teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education in HR, Business, Systems or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR project or programme management.
• Practical experience with project management frameworks (PMP, PRINCE2 preferred).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort working in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Proven track record of ownership and collaboration with internal and external partners.
