HSE Coordinator

About the role

Fisher HR is recruiting an HSE Coordinator for a full-time position based in Abu Dhabi. The role covers implementing and monitoring health, safety and environmental policies and standards across industrial project sites, and coordinating with project teams on safety matters.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and safety standards across industrial project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and project safety requirements.
• Run toolbox talks, safety inductions and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and prepare reports.
• Monitor the use of PPE and maintain HSE documentation, inspection records and incident reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors and contractors and follow up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in HSE / occupational health and safety.
• Previous experience on industrial projects is essential.
• Relevant HSE qualification or certification preferred.
• Ability to work on-site and coordinate with different project teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessments and safety procedures.
• Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits and incident investigations.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
