HSE Coordinator – Rig Operations (Oil & Gas)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HSE Coordinator to lead health, safety and environmental activities for oil & gas operations in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. You will ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, drive a proactive safety culture, and support both rig and non‑rig environments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor implementation of HSE policies, procedures and project safety requirements.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and site safety assessments.
• Identify unsafe acts, conditions and hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk‑assessment processes.
• Participate in incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain HSE, inspection and incident reports.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, HSE awareness sessions and training.
• Organise emergency response drills and ensure familiarity with procedures.
• Monitor PPE usage and environmental compliance, including waste management and spill prevention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 + years HSE experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, construction, drilling or industrial projects.
• Previous experience on Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco HSE standards and RTS approval is an advantage.
