Partnerships Manager & Projects Delivery – Environment Programs

About the role

The Partnerships Manager & Projects Delivery role will act as the operational centre of Terra Impact, handling contract mobilisation, delivery governance and capacity planning across the environment programme portfolio while supporting business development and partnership activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end proposal development, structuring, writing and coordinating technical and financial bids.
• Manage client and funder relationships, serving as the main point of contact for governments, donors and development banks.
• Translate technical capabilities into clear value propositions and maintain the opportunity pipeline and CRM discipline.
• Coordinate consortium arrangements with universities, firms and implementation partners for bids.
• Oversee contract mobilisation for new awards, including project plans, risk registers and delivery governance.
• Monitor budgets, procurement and subcontractor coordination across active contracts and maintain a three‑month capacity outlook.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in proposal/bid development and project management within development, government‑advisory or consulting contexts.
• Strong writing ability and experience structuring persuasive technical‑financial proposals.
• Deep understanding of environment, water and climate sector priorities and passion for impact‑oriented projects.
• Proven experience managing relationships with government, institutional, corporate and NGO stakeholders.
