HSE Document Controller

About the role

Target Engineering is seeking an experienced HSE Document Controller to manage and maintain health, safety and environment documentation for large‑scale Oil & Gas EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that all HSE records are accurate, up‑to‑date and compliant with client, project and UAE regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain electronic and hard‑copy HSE document control systems, logging, tracking, issuing and archiving documents such as risk assessments, incident reports, safety plans, audit reports and toolbox talks.
• Control version and revision status, ensuring only the latest approved documents are in circulation and obsolete files are removed.
• Support internal, client and external audits by providing accurate HSE records and assisting with NCR tracking and corrective actions.
• Manage permits, licenses and regulatory compliance records, ensuring alignment with UAE regulations and major operators like ADNOC and ARAMCO.
• Maintain employee HSE training matrices, certification records and expiry dates for inductions, first aid, firefighting and confined space training.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of experience in HSE document control within Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations and client‑specific requirements (e.g., ADNOC, ARAMCO).
• Ability to work independently, maintain high accuracy and meet tight deadlines.
