HSE Engineer – Health, Safety & Environment (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HSE Engineer to join our site team in Dubai. The role focuses on developing, implementing and monitoring health, safety and environmental standards for construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and update the Health, Safety and Environment Management Plan.
• Create and execute a monitoring schedule that includes site tours, inspections and audits.
• Design a competency framework, maintain a training matrix and plan for the team.
• Lead weekly formal health and safety inspections, workshops and meetings, and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Chair weekly health and safety meetings with contractors, subcontractors and internal management.
• Ensure compliance of contractors, suppliers and vendors with the Health, Safety, Quality and Environment policy.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in health, safety and environment within the building construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Proven ability to lead safety inspections and manage corrective actions.
