Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction & Engineering

About the role

CSCEC Steel is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial and contractual activities throughout the full construction project lifecycle in Dubai. The role involves contract administration, cost control, claims handling and close‑out of large‑scale construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage main‑contract administration, including clauses, milestones and payment terms.
• Prepare monthly interim valuations and IPC submissions.
• Review subcontractor payment applications and handle variations, EOT and cost claims.
• Maintain detailed project records, claim‑evidence documentation and support negotiations with employers and consultants.
• Control project costs, cash‑flow forecasting and monitor budget versus actuals.
• Coordinate quantity verification, site measurements and quantity take‑offs.

Required profile

• Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor on construction projects.
• Solid knowledge of contract administration, claims management and cost control.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and commercial agreements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
