HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment by implementing health and safety policies, conducting workplace inspections, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine workplace and site safety inspections.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and awareness training.
• Monitor proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and inspect emergency equipment.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near‑misses and prepare investigation reports.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports and other HSE documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Recognised safety certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in an HSE role, preferably in aerospace or defence.
• Experience with Integrated Management System (IMS) processes and tools.
