HSEQ Coordinator (Emiratized)

About the role

The HSEQ Coordinator (Emiratized) will support the Infrastructure HSEQ function at Etihad Rail Operating Companies in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures accurate reporting, system administration, action tracking, stakeholder coordination, procurement support and document control to keep HSEQ activities audit‑ready and performance‑driven.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain working relationships with Infrastructure Operations, HSEQ personnel, shared services and other internal departments.
• Collect, verify and consolidate information for HSEQ reports, meetings, presentations and management reviews.
• Prepare meeting minutes, communicate agreed actions, maintain action trackers and follow up until completion.
• Organise HSEQ meetings, workshops, campaigns and events, handling venue, travel and accommodation logistics.
• Administer HSEQ applications such as Safety Culture and SMIS, assign and monitor actions, and ensure timely closure.
• Schedule compliance checks and inspections, maintaining visibility of completion status.
• Maintain investigation reports and supporting evidence within the Document Management System.
• Collect data from Safety Culture, SMIS, SAP and other systems; produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc performance reports.
• Develop analytical dashboards using Power BI, Excel and other reporting tools.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emiratized) with at least 24 months of experience in HSEQ coordination or a related field.
• Proven ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders and manage action‑tracking processes.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for document control and reporting.
