Security Officer - Security System and Screening Projects

About the role

Emirates Group Security is seeking a Security Officer to lead security system and screening projects at its Dubai hub. The role involves independent coordination of security actions, investigation of non‑conformities and development of training and procedural improvements to protect aviation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily discrepancy logs, conduct investigations and present recommendations.
• Review personnel and case records to ensure compliance with appearance, conduct and efficiency standards.
• Inspect operations, observe activities and identify evidence of inefficiency or misconduct.
• Prepare and submit performance and productivity reports, recommending actions or rule changes.
• Collate statistics and evidence to present comprehensive findings to senior authority.
• Redistribute security personnel during emergencies such as fire or Incident Support Unit activation.
• Act as liaison with police, immigration, prosecution, Dubai Airports Company and other authorities.
• Contribute to the formulation of procedures, quality drives and human‑resource requirements.

Required profile

• Supervisory experience in aviation security within an airline, ground handling or related large services organization, preferably in a law‑enforcement environment.
• Relevant aviation security certification from IATA, ICAO or other recognised bodies; a diploma or certificate in Aviation Security Management is an advantage.
