HVAC Technician

About the role

The HVAC Technician will support the engineering and facilities team at W Hotels in Dubai by performing routine maintenance on property vehicles and equipment. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that all mechanical assets operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct minor routine maintenance on engineering trucks, shuttle vans, and electric carts, including oil checks, fluid level inspections, tire pressure monitoring, battery charging, and spark‑plug replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring proper cleaning, lubrication, and functional readiness.
• Maintain accurate maintenance inventory, requisitioning parts and supplies as needed.
• Record daily operation, maintenance, and safety activities in logs, documenting test results, instrument readings, and equipment malfunctions.
• Follow all company safety, security, and environmental policies; report hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of related mechanical or vehicle maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Capability to work at heights, bend, twist, and stoop as required.
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
