HVAC Technician – Luxury Resort

About the role

The HVAC Technician will join the facilities team at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, ensuring the comfort and safety of guests and staff by maintaining high‑performance ventilation and air‑conditioning systems in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air‑conditioning equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks and perform preventive actions.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
• Clean, adjust, and service systems, including warranty work.
• Execute emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Provide technical direction and on‑the‑job training to junior staff.
• Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Follow service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements, and assist with guest queries.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC operations, preferably within a luxury hotel brand.
• Formal training from a recognized technical or vocational institute.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with the priorities of other hotel operating departments.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and guest service.
