ICT Teacher – Immediate Start – Cycle 2 & 3 Charter School

About the role

The Mubarak Bin Mohammed Cycle 2 & 3 Charter School, an American‑curriculum primary school in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join its team for the academic year 2025‑2026. The role starts immediately and involves delivering engaging technology lessons to mixed‑gender classes while supporting the school’s vision of collaboration, leadership and creativity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver ICT lessons that meet the curriculum and cater for the full ability range, using varied resources and displays to create an engaging learning environment.
• Assess and record student progress using Target Tracker, analyse data to inform further planning and provide feedback to parents at conferences.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy, fostering independence, self‑control and a positive attitude among learners.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists, and contribute to curriculum action groups, extracurricular activities and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• At least 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Clean enhanced DBS check or police clearance.
• Commitment to the well‑being of children and participation in extra‑curricular activities.
