IGNITE Trainee – Commercial Finance (Non‑Tech)

About the role

The IGNITE Trainee – Non‑Tech position supports EDGE’s commercial finance function in Dubai. You will work closely with senior managers to prepare financial statements, pricing models and commercial reports that drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing profit & loss statements, assumptions and customer pricing summaries.
• Help develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Support the design and execution of sales‑maximising initiatives.
• Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management.
• Monitor financial performance and track key commercial KPIs.
• Identify commercial risks and propose mitigation actions.
• Contribute to process improvements that shorten pricing and P&L preparation cycles.
• Prepare milestone‑level cash‑flow forecasts and support budget analysis.
• Maintain collections databases and generate related reports.
• Respond to customer queries promptly and fulfil ad‑hoc reporting requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0.
• Previous internship experience in a commercial or finance function is preferred.
