In-Store Digital Specialist – Retail

About the role

The In‑Store Digital Specialist will enhance customer experiences and coworker efficiency by driving the implementation and optimisation of digital solutions within IKEA stores. Acting as the bridge between physical store operations and digital platforms, the role ensures technologies such as kiosks, digital signage and AI‑enabled tools are rolled out effectively and adopted across locations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and operate in‑store digital solutions including kiosks, assisted‑selling tools, digital signage, mobile tools and customer meeting‑point solutions.
• Monitor performance using KPIs, identify gaps and provide actionable insights to improve adoption and operational readiness.
• Drive omnichannel integration to connect physical touchpoints with digital channels, reducing friction in the customer journey.
• Support marketing automation and AI‑driven initiatives in‑store, ensuring accurate campaign execution and readiness for scale.
• Coordinate vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver, maintain and enhance digital solutions.

Required profile

• Strong documentation and training capabilities.
• Analytical, improvement‑oriented mindset and comfort in fast‑paced retail environments.
• Experience supporting AI or data‑driven initiatives.
• Background working with digital solutions in retail or omnichannel settings.
• Understanding of customer journeys across physical and digital touchpoints.
