Inclusion Teacher (August Start)

About the role

Dubai American Academy, the flagship American school of GEMS Education, is seeking passionate Inclusion Teachers to join the team from August 2026. The role involves delivering inclusive education to high‑school students and supporting a diverse international community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive Inclusion lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Ensure continuity in curriculum delivery and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture that encourages exploration.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and maintain open communication regarding student progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, etc.).
• Proven experience teaching high‑school Inclusion.
• Commitment to inclusive pedagogy and ability to work in a multicultural setting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of inquiry‑based learning.
• Hands‑on Inclusion education techniques.
• Ability to differentiate instruction effectively.
• Strong communication skills with parents and staff.
