Income Auditor - Finance

About the role

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, a luxury lifestyle destination in Dubai featuring a resort, residences, a superyacht marina, spa and fitness centre and curated dining, is hiring an Income Auditor. The role verifies front office transactions and reconciles revenue data between the Opera and Sun systems.

Key responsibilities

• Verify front office transactions by cross-checking journal prints against trial balance reports and importing revenue files from Opera into the Sun system.
• Prepare daily revenue reconciliation reports comparing Opera and Sun systems, and Symphony versus Opera.
• Review and update records and reports on entertainment representation, officers' checks and service recoveries.
• Monitor reservation cancellations from the previous day and identify chargeable ones.
• Check rebates daily and prepare a summary of findings.
• Generate statements for third-party outlets and summaries for credit tips distribution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
