Income Auditor

About the role

Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana is seeking a meticulous Income Auditor to join its finance team. The successful candidate will ensure all financial reports are accurate, authorized, and compliant with company policies, delivering exceptional service to both guests and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify Night Auditor logbooks, daily revenue, and Food & Beverage reports against supporting vouchers and trial balances.
• Distribute daily reports after obtaining approval from the Director of Finance or Financial Controller.
• Analyse rate variance reports to confirm correct rates are applied.
• Audit city ledger and credit‑card transfers, forwarding details to Accounts Receivable.
• Validate daily cash summaries and update the General Cashier’s report.
• Investigate cash overages/shortages and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor Front Office foreign‑exchange rates as needed.
• Conduct weekly float counts for all house fund holders and compile monthly summaries.

Required profile

• Degree in Hotel Management or Accounting.
• Minimum of one year experience in a hotel finance environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset, high integrity, and professional conduct.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with standard office software.
