Industrialization Engineer

About the role

Air Q Limited is seeking an Industrialization Engineer to ensure production readiness for its aerospace and UAV lines in Abu Dhabi. You will own the creation, maintenance and control of work instructions and engineering documentation, bridging R&D, engineering, quality and shop‑floor teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed work instructions for assembly and integration processes.
• Manage document revisions, guaranteeing technicians use the latest approved versions.
• Control and track engineering and design changes from R&D to production.
• Translate design updates into practical build documentation.
• Identify production‑floor issues and coordinate resolution with R&D/Engineering.
• Support documentation readiness for new production lines and product launches.
• Ensure all documentation complies with quality and production standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production/manufacturing engineering, DFM or engineering documentation control.
• Experience in aerospace, UAV, aviation or defence manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of DFM and production processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process‑improvement certification is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
