Installation Technician 1

About the role

The Installation Technician 1 will join AVI‑SPL’s AV integration team in Dubai, delivering on‑site installation of audio‑visual infrastructure for client projects. You will work closely with the Lead Technician to ensure installations meet schedule, quality, safety and customer satisfaction standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cable pulls, terminations and connect AV equipment according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools for soldering, crimping, mechanical fabrication and rack assembly.
• Assist the Lead Technician in managing tools and equipment on the job site.
• Support basic rack wiring and system component installation.
• Travel to multiple customer sites and adapt to varying work environments.
• Execute additional tasks as required to support project objectives.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and vendor interaction.
• Customer‑service orientation with focus on client satisfaction.
• Basic understanding of audio‑visual systems and related technologies.
• Ability to work safely in construction‑type environments.
