Interior Draftsman

About the role

The Interior Draftsman will create precise technical drawings that translate interior design concepts into buildable plans. Working closely with designers and architects, you will ensure that every detail aligns with the project vision and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details for interior projects.
• Convert conceptual sketches into accurate, scaled CAD drawings.
• Develop furniture layouts, lighting plans, and material specifications.
• Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and project managers to incorporate feedback and resolve design issues.
• Create 3D models and visualisations to support client presentations.
• Document material finishes, colors, and textures, and assist in sourcing specifications.
• Maintain organized records of drafts, revisions, and finalised plans.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of relevant drafting experience.
• Strong technical drafting ability combined with creativity.
• Good understanding of building codes, design standards, and construction techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
