Fragrance Evaluator – Fabric & Home Care (MENA)

About the role

Givaudan is seeking a Fragrance Evaluator for its Fabric & Home Care category, focusing on the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) markets. Based in the regional Creative Centre in Dubai, you will work with the Fragrance Consumer Products Development team to guide perfumers and shape fragrance concepts that meet regional consumer preferences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead evaluation projects, handling briefs for specific categories, countries or regions under Creative Fragrance Manager supervision.
• Collaborate with perfumers, key account managers, marketing, consumer insights and laboratory experts to develop fragrance themes.
• Analyse regional marketing trends, forecast olfactory trends and incorporate consumer preferences into fragrance selections.
• Interact with sales colleagues throughout the project lifecycle to ensure customer requirements are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in fragrance evaluation.
• Excellent oral and written English; additional Arabic is a plus.
• Strong olfactory memory and ability to articulate fragrance notes.
• Good presentation and project‑management skills.

• Olfactory evaluation expertise.
• Raw material understanding for fragrance development.
• Knowledge of CMI testing protocols.
• Proficiency with Givaudan internal digital tools and other digital solutions.
