Internal Audit Engineer – Dubai

About the role

A leading construction firm in Dubai is seeking an Internal Audit Engineer to evaluate operational workflows and strengthen internal governance. This position centers on analyzing engineering procedures, auditing project delivery practices, assessing operational risk, and verifying compliance across ongoing construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audits across engineering operations, site workflows, and control frameworks.
• Analyze operational activities to identify risk exposures, procedural weaknesses, and execution errors.
• Assess compliance against internal company policies, quality assurance guidelines, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports, risk evaluations, and actionable recommendations for executive management.
• Partner with project management and quality control teams to establish robust internal controls and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field; 3 to 5 years of direct UAE experience in construction, project management, quality control, or technical internal auditing.
• Deep familiarity with internal auditing frameworks, quality control systems, project documentation standards, and risk matrix tools.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving abilities and effective report writing skills.
