Internal Audit Manager

About the role

Ittihad International Investment is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead audit engagements across its diversified investment portfolio in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on the manufacturing sector, ensuring robust internal controls, governance, and risk management practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage internal audit engagements throughout the organization.
• Evaluate internal controls, governance processes, and risk management practices.
• Conduct audits within the manufacturing sector and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow‑up actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen compliance and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year experience in a managerial internal audit role.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector audit environment.
• Previous experience with a Big 4 firm is highly regarded.
• Currently based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
