Internal Auditor – Real Estate, Facilities & Operations (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen the internal control environment, governance framework, and risk management across our real estate, facilities management, warehouse, logistics and operational activities. The role requires deep expertise in operational auditing, financial controls and property management within a complex, diversified business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk‑based internal audit plans for all operational and business units.
• Conduct operational, financial and compliance audits, reviewing policies, SOPs, approval authorities and procedures.
• Evaluate cash handling, procurement, payments, inventory, warehouse operations and other financial controls.
• Audit real‑estate activities including lease agreements, rental calculations, service charges and property expenditures.
• Assess facilities‑management controls, labor accommodations, logistics facilities and company assets.
• Review project costs, fit‑out works, contractor claims, capital expenditures and construction payments.
• Perform surprise audits, stock counts and investigations into irregularities or suspected fraud.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk assessments and practical recommendations.
• Follow up on corrective actions and monitor implementation of audit recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA or CMA (highly preferred).
• 5–7 years of experience in internal/operational audit or compliance, preferably within real‑estate, facilities‑management, retail, warehousing or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk assessment methodologies and UAE financial regulations including VAT.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory; preference for Arab nationals.

• Experience using financial reporting systems.
