Investment Process Development Specialist

About the role

The Investment Process Development Specialist will support the Director of the Investment Department by enhancing data accuracy, building quantitative models, and improving investment processes. This position works closely with both the investment team and IT to deliver robust analytical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Validate market data accuracy using internal analytics tools and external sources such as Bloomberg.
• Conduct quantitative analysis, develop new models, and implement attribution and risk calculations.
• Gather and document process improvement needs from investment team members.
• Collaborate with the IT division to design, develop, and test system enhancements.
• Recommend technological and procedural changes to meet regulatory requirements.
• Support risk‑monitoring teams by enhancing risk identification and reporting.
• Assist with performance attribution, stress testing, and related reporting tasks as requested by the Investment Director.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Investment, Finance, Process Management, or a quantitative discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CFA or CIPM are a plus.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; French is an asset.
• Minimum five years of experience in investments, quantitative analytics, process improvement, or asset‑management system implementation at reputable financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, products, and risk calculations, including VaR concepts.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Advanced PowerPoint proficiency.
• Bloomberg terminal experience.
