IRIS Engineer – Integration & Implementation

About the role

We are looking for a senior IRIS Engineer to lead the integration, implementation, administration, and optimisation of IRIS For Health solutions in Abu Dhabi. This is a two‑year extendable contract based on‑site, reporting to both internal and client teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead at least two major IRIS For Health implementations using FHIR standards.
• Install, configure, and support IRIS For Health platforms and IIS web servers across DEV, TEST, STAGE, PROD and DR environments.
• Design and maintain high‑availability, scalable architectures with a 99.999% uptime target.
• Establish and manage a Disaster Recovery site and ensure robust backup procedures.
• Develop automation scripts, system monitoring tools, and health‑check policies.
• Configure API Manager with client‑specific security policies.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Manage patches, releases, and upgrades to keep the environment secure and functional.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation and training materials.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IRIS For Health system administration.
• Proven track record delivering IRIS implementations using FHIR.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and disaster‑recovery expertise.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
