Irrigation Engineer

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Irrigation Engineer to lead the design, construction and supervision of landscape and irrigation projects across Dubai. You will work independently or as a lead on small to intermediate projects, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, prepare budgets and schedules, and provide technical direction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop engineering deliverables such as calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design packages and technical reports.
• Supervise junior engineers, CAD designers and drafters, offering guidance and performance feedback.
• Coordinate with local authorities, infrastructure agencies and the public on emergency works, road crossings and utility connections.
• Support other engineering activities as required and contribute to multidisciplinary project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Agricultural Engineering with a focus on landscape irrigation or horticulture.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design, construction and supervision of irrigation and landscape projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of Dubai’s existing infrastructure networks, pipelines, chambers, pumping stations and non‑disruptive road crossing techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to advise clients on sustainable irrigation solutions.
