Islamic Studies Teacher

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an Islamic Studies Teacher to join its growing network of schools for the academic year 2027/28. The role involves delivering inclusive, innovative Islamic education that inspires and empowers students in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Islamic Studies lessons that motivate students to achieve their best outcomes.
• Plan and prepare curriculum‑aligned sessions, using hybrid, distance‑learning and face‑to‑face formats.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff and parents to support student wellbeing and academic progress.
• Assess, record and analyse student performance using Target Tracker and other data tools.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Participate in extra‑curricular activities, school events and weekly ECA sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with PGCE or equivalent teacher qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with students whose first language is not Arabic.
• Passion for whole‑child education and a high level of professionalism.
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or police check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hybrid/distance‑learning platforms.
• Effective use of learning technologies to enhance instruction.
• Experience using the Target Tracker assessment system.
