Islamic Studies Teacher (Temporary Maternity Cover)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an Islamic Studies Teacher on a temporary maternity‑cover basis for Al Ain British Academy, starting in August 2026 (Term 1). The role involves delivering engaging Islamic Studies lessons to a mixed‑ability class and contributing to the school’s inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum‑aligned Islamic Studies lessons that motivate and inspire students.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to design engaging, standards‑based units.
• Maintain a well‑organized classroom, create resource displays and manage learning materials.
• Assess student progress, record outcomes and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate regularly with parents to support student wellbeing and academic achievement.
• Work alongside curriculum support staff and, when needed, specialists such as speech therapists or educational psychologists.
• Embed the school’s values and learner DNA language throughout all teaching activities.
