Islamic Teacher (Full-Time)

About the role

The Islamic Teacher will deliver engaging, culturally relevant Islamic studies to students in Dubai, ensuring each child progresses academically and spiritually. The role involves planning lessons, fostering a safe learning environment, and collaborating with families and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging Islamic lessons, ensuring active learning throughout each session.
• Maintain the safety and well‑being of children at all times.
• Lead CAS activities, contribute to staff training and support the development of the school community.
• Ensure teaching and learning are of the highest standard, personalized to meet individual needs and school targets.
• Promote an inclusive, learner‑led curriculum that respects the cultural heritage of the community.
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and school matters.
• Participate in marketing, community outreach and school events to increase pupil numbers.
• Carry out any additional tasks required by the school or regional office to support day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Credible teacher with a range of teaching experience in Islamic education.
• Ability to lead engaging, relevant lessons that inspire progress.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Initiative, flexibility, a proactive and positive attitude.
• Commitment to promoting the school within the local community and meeting enrolment targets.
