IT Analyst (UAE National Role)

About the role

The Analyst will provide effective functional and technical support for the relevant applications, ensuring issues are appropriately documented, tracked, addressed, and resolved in a timely manner as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs), with strict adherence to RAKBANK IT & Business guidelines and compliance requirements. The analyst will work closely with business users and software vendors to deliver solutions, resolve issues, support digital banking and AI‑enabled applications, and maintain and update custom code owned by the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software application issues, including bug fixes and long‑term solutions.
• Provide technical support to end‑users, guiding them through features and resolving technical difficulties.
• Maintain the software system through regular checks, performance monitoring, updates, and documentation.
• Automate business processes using scripting, coding, or automation tools to improve efficiency.
• Implement changes required by business needs or project requirements and document all support activities.
• Identify improvement areas in support processes and drive enhancements for greater efficiency.
• Support automation and digital transformation initiatives and share knowledge with team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Good knowledge of banking concepts and experience with typical software development lifecycles.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python coding.
• Strong understanding of personal loan and credit card products, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
