IT Applications Manager

About the role

The Manager – IT Applications will lead Group IT’s application support function, focusing on the Oracle ERP landscape across all business entities. This role ensures stability, performance, security and continuous improvement while overseeing related enterprise application teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Oracle ERP application support team, ensuring stability, availability and performance across all modules.
• Oversee delivery of Oracle‑related projects including new company roll‑outs, module implementations, upgrades and integrations.
• Manage integrations between Oracle ERP and third‑party applications using middleware, APIs and EDI.
• Act as escalation point for critical incidents and own the Oracle ERP roadmap in line with business needs.
• Provide secondary oversight of other enterprise application support teams, driving standardised processes and governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 8‑12 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle ERP modules (Finance, SCM, Procurement, HR) in a techno‑functional capacity.
• Proven experience leading or managing techno‑functional consulting/application support teams delivering Oracle projects.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into Oracle‑based technical/functional solutions.
