IT Auditor – Emiratization (UAE National)

About the role

The IT Auditor will join Rak Bank’s internal audit team to conduct risk‑based audits across the bank’s IT infrastructure, applications and security controls. This Emiratization‑focused position is open to UAE nationals and offers the opportunity to influence technology risk management within a leading financial institution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audit reviews, including risk assessments, fieldwork and documentation.
• Identify control gaps, assess associated risks and recommend practical remediation actions.
• Prepare clear audit findings and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to develop remediation plans.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and validate corrective actions.
• Support continuous monitoring, investigations and special audit projects as required.

Required profile

• UAE national with a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Strong interest in IT audit, technology risk, information security or governance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity principles and technology controls.
