IT Infrastructure Engineer – Wireless

About the role

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer specialized in wireless technologies to join our Dubai team. The role involves deploying, configuring, optimizing and supporting enterprise wireless networks across customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot network incidents, including wireless, routing and security issues.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls and wireless devices.
• Manage VLANs, routing protocols, VPNs and overall network security.
• Perform network maintenance, upgrades and maintain accurate documentation.
• Conduct site surveys, RF optimization and integrate wireless solutions with the broader enterprise network.
• Escalate complex problems to L3 or vendor teams when required.
• Ensure compliance with corporate network security policies.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of hands‑on network support experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP and VPN technologies.
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba or Fortinet networking equipment.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or PRTG.
• CCNA certification preferred; CCNP is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities.
