IT Intern – 6-Month Hotel Technology Role

About the role

Join the IT team at a leading hotel in Dubai and gain hands‑on experience supporting daily technology operations. You will work across multiple departments, ensuring smooth IT services for guests and staff while developing practical problem‑solving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily IT support to Front Office, Finance, F&B and other hotel departments.
• Support and maintain hotel PMS and POS systems.
• Maintain and monitor Wi‑Fi and network connectivity for guests and staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including computers, printers, servers, switches and mobile devices.
• Manage user access, permissions and passwords in line with security policies.
• Ensure regular system backups, updates and antivirus protection.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and software licensing records.
• Assist with new system installations, upgrades and hotel renovations.
• Provide basic IT assistance for guest technology issues when required.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity and brand standards.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduates and students seeking practical industry experience are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, in shifts (including weekends and public holidays), and in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Service‑oriented, detail‑focused and able to multitask efficiently.
