Information Technology Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, and related systems.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and implement security measures.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Ensure systems are updated and functioning efficiently.
• Provide hands‑on technical support to internal teams and respond to user requests.
• Coordinate with vendors or service providers as needed.
• Document IT procedures and contribute to technology improvements.
• Support business continuity and data protection initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in IT with experience supporting enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Network Administration and Network Security expertise for LAN/WAN environments.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Customer service orientation with clear communication.
• Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux operating systems, endpoint management, and basic server administration.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, data backup and recovery, and access control management.
• Relevant diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft are a plus.
