IT Intern – 6‑month program

About the role

Accor is looking for a proactive, tech‑savvy IT Intern to join its Dubai hotel team for a six‑month period. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting the hotel’s information technology environment while contributing to a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily IT support to hotel departments such as Front Office, Finance and F&B.
• Support and maintain hotel systems, including Property Management System (PMS) and Point‑of‑Sale (POS) platforms.
• Monitor and maintain Wi‑Fi and network connectivity for guests and staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on computers, printers, servers, switches and mobile devices.
• Manage user access, permissions and passwords in line with security policies.
• Ensure regular system backups, updates and antivirus protection.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and software licensing records.
• Assist with new system installations, upgrades and hotel openings or renovations.
• Provide basic IT assistance for guest technology issues when required.
• Ensure compliance with data‑protection, cybersecurity and brand standards.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems, networking and IT support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English.
• Warm, outgoing and service‑oriented personality.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Adaptability to a multicultural workplace.
