IT Manager – Manufacturing Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the optimisation and support of our Oracle Manufacturing suite within a fast‑paced catering environment. The role will ensure accurate production data, minimise shop‑floor disruption and provide reliable visibility across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise Oracle Manufacturing processes including Production, Shop Floor Control, BOM, Routings, Inventory and Supply Chain operations.
• Configure Oracle Manufacturing modules to meet business requirements while limiting customisations and technical debt.
• Administer user access by defining authorisation profiles, managing user IDs and establishing help‑desk procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement of internal procedures and software customisations across functions.
• Manage change control, application security, business continuity planning and support approved system changes.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of Oracle ERP customisations from design through testing and implementation.
• Schedule, prioritise and implement ERP tasks to ensure on‑time, within‑budget delivery.
• Evaluate upgrades and new software for technical and functional suitability.
• Provide hands‑on support to business users to minimise operational disruption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years experience with Oracle ERP applications (configuration, implementation, support).
• Project management certification is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules and/or JDE Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Oracle ERP and Oracle Manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of databases, network technologies, programming languages and operating systems.
• Familiarity with internet technologies, quality management and change management.
