IT Officer (Graduate)

About the role

Wood is looking for a motivated Graduate IT Officer to join its Abu Dhabi office. This entry‑level position focuses on administrative support for the IT department, ensuring that user requests are captured, processed, and communicated efficiently. You will act as a liaison between various business units and the IT team, helping to keep IT operations smooth and well‑documented.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all IT forms (access, handover) are correctly completed and filed.
• Create and activate access cards for floor entry.
• Generate hardware and software requests for new joiners.
• Prepare the attendance report for UAE nationals and forward it to HR.
• Maintain and update local IT asset registers for laptops, monitors, and accessories.
• Follow up on pending IT requests to guarantee timely completion.
• Coordinate simple logistics such as receiving, labeling, and storing IT items.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computers and office applications.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
