IT Senior Financial Analyst (Oracle EBS Finance)

About the role

A large multi‑entity group operating in the UAE construction and engineering sector is looking for an IT Senior Financial Analyst to be the senior functional authority for its Oracle E‑Business Suite finance landscape. The role bridges Finance and IT, translating accounting policies, regulatory requirements and reporting needs into system configuration and controlled change.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day functional support for Oracle EBS Financials across all production and non‑production environments and legal entities.
• Own configuration of General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, iExpenses, Tax and Intercompany, including chart of accounts, ledger setup, security rules and approval hierarchies.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of incidents, apply controlled configuration corrections and manage escalations to Oracle Support.
• Lead full‑lifecycle implementations, upgrades or major rollouts, ensuring alignment with group accounting policy and statutory obligations.
• Maintain documentation, functional specifications and change‑control procedures for a multi‑org, multi‑ledger, multi‑currency environment.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in finance systems and finance operations.
• Minimum 6 years hands‑on functional experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite (R12) and at least three full‑lifecycle implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project‑based and contracting finance in construction/engineering.
