IT Specialist – 12-Month Contract – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an IT Specialist on a 12‑month contract to join our Dubai team. You will ensure the stability of our automation and reporting environments while providing first‑line support for critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Python bot environments and SQL‑based scheduling systems to guarantee daily job stability.
• Provide basic support for internal .NET Web APIs hosted on IIS.
• Escalate complex software bugs to external vendors and track their resolution.
• Maintain and support Microsoft SQL Server databases used by internal applications and BI systems.
• Troubleshoot daily run errors in SSIS integration packages and SSAS analytical cubes.
• Update and enhance Power BI dashboards, including DAX calculations, drill‑throughs and tooltips.
• Monitor data refresh schedules to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Deliver first‑line SAP support, assisting end‑users with common transaction codes and routine data extraction.
• Coordinate with SAP partners and regional IT teams for advanced troubleshooting or custom development.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing Python automation scripts and SQL scheduling tools.
• Hands‑on knowledge of .NET Web APIs and IIS hosting.
• Solid background in Microsoft SQL Server administration and BI solutions.
• Experience with SSIS, SSAS, Power BI and DAX development.
• Familiarity with SAP end‑user support and coordination with external SAP teams.
