IT Specialist Associate – Branch ICT Support

About the role

The IT Specialist Associate will be the primary ICT point of contact for the Abu Dhabi branch, ensuring that all technology systems operate securely, reliably, and efficiently. Working closely with Intesa Sanpaolo IT teams in the UAE and Head Office, you will support daily operations and contribute to the branch’s business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the branch ICT environment, ensuring hardware and software availability.
• Monitor system performance and provide first‑level troubleshooting, escalating to Head Office when needed.
• Support critical AS400 procedures such as SIRE, Safewatch, and Swift Alliance.
• Coordinate ICT projects for the branch, including primary and disaster‑recovery sites.
• Manage Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing in line with Group policies.
• Control application access and ensure compliance with internal security standards.
• Provide ICT support for business activities, including videoconferencing and telecommunications.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar ICT support role.
• University degree in a related discipline.
• Strong command of English.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
